Why when I cancelled my ,premium membership do I lose my 2 websites?

I am a little peeved that I lose my 2 websites and not return to being a starter member!!!! I worked hard and due to my financial difficulty I can't afford the membership. So why can't I return to a starter membership and keep my 2 websites? Any ways maybe I am expecting too much but I just wanted to point this out this does not make sense.

I also want to cancel my Premium membership due to finances. @RICH I am not sure what you mean when you say that too many changes have taken place to revert, could you explain this please. Many thanks

Unfortunately, too many changes take place to your account for it to be practical to revert to free, sorry.

ie. you might have 25 websites, which two would then be saved as part of free?
