My New Life - Phoenix Arizona - Palm Trees - World Champion - Entrepreneur
My second post since I joined WA, and got through with some training and am now working on my site. I come from an IT background and after 6 years I decided to quit. I remember always wanting the better things in life but never really quite followed through until now. It wasn't fear that kept me from pursuing what I wanted but the lack of support, not knowing what to do, or where to start and well the environment around you does matter. I remember always wanting to do something exciting with my life since I was in my early 20s but my family never sounded too excited for me, instead they used to tell me not to be too ambitious. Choosing to become an athlete and entrepreneur was not easy at all, it definitely affected everything around me, but I had to choose what is best for me to become the person I want be regardless of others negative opinions. I gained a lot of weight working behind a computer for 6 years, I had stopped working on myself and then I got back into boxing and transformed myself, and currently work as a bike messenger so these past couple of years was all about change, it was all about creating a new me. 5 years ago I never thought I'd be able to run 8 miles, box, and bike around the city all day, I was just so out of shape. I had to dig deep within myself and use my pain, my bad experiences and this gave me the drive necessary to fight my way into a new life, and just recently I had a bike accident but got lucky, my injury did require surgery, but I'm healing pretty fast and just started cycling again 3 days ago after not being able to do much for 5 weeks which gave me a lot of time to reflect and picture myself being successful with a nice home, beautiful wife and wonderful kids. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks I can be out on the road working again and now I guess it's safe to say I have my online business to work with. I hope to compete in a couple of boxing matches by winter 2019 before I relocate to Phoenix. I need a fresh new start, a better environment for myself, some palm trees over my head. I look forward to visiting the city before I decide to live there, and I plan on going to a couple of countries as well before 2020. I am boxing my way to success, I will be a champion, and I will start a great boxing promotion company and help those in need! (or at least those who want to be helped).
