Two Down, Three to Go (Courses, that is)
I'm about five weeks in and, I have to say, I am really, really impressed with the quality of the training here at Wealthy Affiliate. Also, the support of the community is unsurpassed. I don't think I've ever run across a bunch of more positive minded people in my life, and it's a nice change from some of the other "communities" I have been a part of.
One Feature That Makes WA Such a Great Site
I used to maintain a website for a women's motorcycle group many years ago, and the platform was a simple GoDaddy site (can I say that here?). Believe me when I say the website building platform here is light years ahead of that GD site. I used to struggle and cuss a blue streak at that darn site, and at the end of the day I may have posted a few pictures, formatted a couple of pages, and wrote a paragraph or three. HTML knowledge was needed to help build that site, and it was much more difficult than it needed to be, at least that's what I thought at the time.
But the SiteRubix website building tool makes it so much easier. It's still an education, don't get me wrong; it's not like I jumped in and whipped out a website in a day. In fact, like a lot of people at this stage of the game, my website is just a teeny, baby website and needs lots more content, images, affiliate links, traffic, etc.
What the Future Holds
- Three more courses
- Lots of content writing
- A bit of struggle with social media (Google + = Yikes!)
- Building traffic
- An increasing revenue stream with time
- And then maybe another site, we'll see
And to Sum it All Up . . .
I'm actually having fun! Learning to build a site this way has been a blast so far. Challenging, at times frustrating, but never boring. And, when I start making some money it will just be the icing on the cake!

Well done Susan, it definitely is not easy, but it was just what the doctor ordered for building a webpage and like you said the training and community is exceptional.
