A newer member was having a problem with getting partial errors when she fetched and render in Google Search Console and posted a message on Marion Blacks post titled Sitemap: Submit to Google Search Console.
Because of the time Heather posted the message, I knew that Marion was probably not awake due to the time difference. So I offered my assistance.
I had a similar problem recently and suggested to Heather to make sure there was a forward slash /before the slug/ as well as one after and then re-fetch it and see what happens.
Low and behold, it wasn't much later, Heather replied that it worked.
This Is How We Roll At Wealthy Affiliate!
As I mentioned before, this is not about me, it is about how WE, as a community at Wealthy Affiliate, step in and help one another!
This post is about how someone such as myself, who joins WA with no knowledge what so ever, can lend a helping hand all because of the help and guidance from other knowledgeable people we meet and learn to trust over time.
Thank you to all who have mentored and cared enough through out the years to help and guide me, so I can return the same to others.
(To avoid the risk of excluding someone, I won't mention names but I believe you already know who you are!)
What an awesome feeling, one that is worth more than gold to me!
At the risk of sounding redundant, I will say it again, This Is How We Roll At Wealthy Affiliate and if you are missing out on this wonderful opportunity, it is certainly your misfortune!

That's exactly right, Suzette. The WA community is amazing and full of people that are way more experienced than others, myself included. It behooves us to take advantage of that when we need help and to keep in touch.

We all have different talents and skills that we shared and that and that is one of the things that make us so great :).
Well for several reasons Jovo,
To drive home the main point was the main objective. Many times the intentions of our posts get twisted into something that was not meant to be.
I wanted the focus to remain on Wealthy Affiliate and helping fellow members, not on me.
And lastly, as I understand it, our blog post here at Wealthy Affiliate can get ranked and indexed within the search engines. We use headers, bold and italic words for such reasons within our website content and eve within the Social Media platforms, why not here?
I suspected it was for ranking and this is why I asked. I never use bold for keywords, they are for machines so this is not needed, have seen very experienced people saying this. For visitors it may be annoying if it is repeated frequently in the text.
That's exactly how it works Suzette, and even new members, who are here for a week, can help first day starters to the first answers.
Yes they can Loes. I hope this encourages new people to do just that. Many people who join are like myself. Coming in with little or no knowledge but we begin learning the minuet we start the training. Others may join already having previous knowledge that they too can as Tony would say, "share & care" :)
Yes, it's all about it, Suzette. Timely help does boost confidence of the one facing a problem.:)
We all have hit a road block from time and time and know how frustrating it can be. You want to get it fixed and move on. I was glad I could I could step in and make that happen for Heather.
Yes, and it can be something very small and stupid that we don't see having not come across such things before.::)
Your so right Vera, There have been countless times that I have went on for days trying to figure something out.
Many times someone with more knowledge steps in and says, hey do this or that, and the problem is solved.
So many times it is just a minor adjustment and things are good.
At first times like this made me feel poorly, like I shouldn't have been so stupid as to not have figured it out on my own.
Now because of such great support from the many members here at Wealthy Affiliate, I have learned to look at these times as learning experiences. Feeling confident that one day, I may just be able to help someone else who feels the same way.
Funny you said that because I am beginning to feel like one "a computer geek" :)
It never ceases to amaze me what can be learned with all the training and very smart people we hang out with on a daily basis here at WA.
Well, great... Now I will know who to holler at! Men do not always understand how our brain works...lol:))

Your post says it all Suzette, it is so good to be involved with WA there doesn't seem to be many platforms that have evolved to this degree online so it is indeed special.
Special indeed Alexander, I get up every morning looking forward to logging into my computer, with coffee in hand, and beginning my day with a healthy and happy dose of Wealthy Affiliate :).
Sometimes I feel sad for those around me who are so miserable at their jobs. Sometimes even feeling guilty that I love what I do and the people I surround myself with on a daily basis.
But then again, they too could escape their misery and join us, even it is just for a hobby or even working for part-time income.
