Ya'll won't believe what happened!!! I had a PORN site.
So I start building my site "Women At Home" Got my pages done, about me, scams and some really good blogs..(among other fine aspects) I thought I had purchased the domain from Go Daddy but it had siterubix on it so following the training to switch it over, I kept getting an error with my site underlined. Well, I clicked on it and got a Lesbian site!!! WHAT??? I had worked very hard on this site. Even had Amazon ad sense and Google Analytics. Which I have to go and undo now...not sure how, but, can you imagine my shock? My first reaction was delete, delete,delete. Stupid me...I should have backed up my info. 3 months of hard work down the toilet. If I don't quit now I never will. I called Go Daddy and they had a good laugh...checked my bank account and no purchase (except for my other domains). So moral of this story? Your comments are welcome.
On a good note...I learned so much and I am grateful for that.
Now back to square one.

Wow. I can understand the gut reaction and the frantic delete! When I wrote for Demand Studios, years ago, we were told to google our prospective pseudonyms to make sure they weren't in use. One writer friend searched her real name and found the number 1 result was a 'private escort.' Online life can be very interesting. : )

Sorry to hear that you didn't end up purchasing that domain that you wanted, I can only imagine the surprise when you visited the domain and found out that it was already purchased and being used for something else!!! Geez.
