Cleanliness 101!

It absolutely floors me that we have to remind people to wash their hands. I get that we can get lazy and maybe not scrub our hands as long as we should. But, come on people, wash your hands! :)

A Little Humor

Come on now, please don't get offended. The headline was to grab your attention not to insult you...unless you are one of those that don't wash your hands. LOL!

What Has Caught Your Attention During This Pandemic?

A few things that seem interesting to me are...
... The empty shelves in the grocery stores
... Lines at the gas pumps
... Not a roll of toilet paper to be found
... All the blog post about the virus LOL!

In all seriousness... It's interesting the global death toll is being updated and published hourly. I wonder how long that will continue. I think it's necessary and important to know how serious the situation is. And it reminds us of the devastation that it's causing.

Let me know in the comments what has caught your attention.

Thanks, peeps!

Just a side note... This is a serious crisis not only for those with the virus and the families that have lost love one's due to it but to all of those who are losing income to pay their bills and keep a roof over their families.

Let's all be kind to one another and help where we can.

Hello SuzaMaré,

I like your sense of humor, it is true, you have to remember to wash your hands, but I notice that it is putting pressure on the frequency, now more than ever we must be meticulous, wash our hands many more times and when we are not use a viric decontaminant with alcohol near a tap of soap and water, just as surgeons do, not only for others but also for oneself.

Although I have to admit that if we have some immunity it is because to a greater or lesser extent we share germs, bacteria and why not some viruses that are waiting for an opportunity to express themselves in the organism of another host, that is why the awareness of washing more and more and much more hands, since this evil virus is running like wildfire.

What do you think ?, I know that people wash their hands, but maybe they have to multiply the frequency by 10 ...

When in doubt . . . wash your hands. And 30 minutes later, wash them again. Disinfect surfaces with household bleach, a 1% solution is greater than 97% effective.

Gracias SuzaMarie, usas el limpiador Gnoose, es cierto sobre el blanqueador, aunque no me gusta el olor, mmm, prefiero el alcohol desinfectante, el alcohol para heridas ... al menos para las manos.

I'm with Gnoose. I've always been a big handwasher since I've worked with food most of my life.

I have a spray bottle with a bleach/water mix that I'm using on just about everything.

Thanks SuzaMarie, it's a great idea, you have to take into account how long the virus is alive depending on where it will fall .. uff it's a little scary.

Exactly...wash your hands...grin. And cover your sneezes and coughs. That's how you stop the spread....if you're sick, stay home....
The panic and fear is created by our 24/7 world. To be aware is one thing, to be bombarded with all of the virus posts that have gone viral, (humor) is another...

I appreciated your sense of humor, Suza..

Thanks, Rudy! Grin! :)

Hi Suzanne, from what I understand this is the safest practice to get into for all airborne diseases.

And it's such a common sense thing to do.

You never know what's coming next. A month ago things were much different. Let's hope this virus passes through quickly.

From your lips to God's ears. I hope that shutting down just about everything will help slow this thing down. And, most importantly get people to think more clearly.

Yep, you'd hope so. One thing it's done is improve my hygiene...I don't think I've ever washed my hands so much in a single day.

Practice of good hygene in additon to healthy eating which would ensure a strong immune system gives us a strong foundation to fight this virus.

I think that the reaction is filled with too much panic. The facts are showing that there is no need to. The majority of people who contract the virus, suvive it.

I too don't get the rush for toilet paper. As far as I know, this virus is not accompanied with a continued need to visit the loo. In addition, won't it mean that those withour the toilet paper will increase the risk for those who are hording?

A common sense approach, void of panic and hype will see us go safely through this flu season.

Don't forgeet to trust in God.

Russell

Amen!
