Starting with Wealthy Affiliate

I have been working with Wealthy Affiliate as a newbie. I didn't know anything about building a website or getting paid for what you advertise. I started out without a membership, but I wanted to go further. I upgraded to Premium and enjoy the extra perks included.

I followed the training with Kyle and learned a lot of new things. I had to learn about finding my niche, which took a lot of thinking. I started out with a website about luxury all-inclusive resorts, but I was limited on what I could write articles about. Finding keywords with low QSR was a little daunting. I found some keywords to write about, but like I said, it was too restrictive.

I went ahead and paid for a new domain and just started over. I started a new website and I called it slrdreamtravels, for people that want to learn about the benefits of traveling. I am a certified travel agent, so it was a good exercise to write about traveling.

I had a few problems with pictures at first, but I kept asking Kyle and he walked me through it. My old webpage was considered dangerous by Google so it wouldn't let me really see my web site. My new site does not have that problem!

I know there is more to learn, I'm taking it slowly. When I go too fast, I get confused and start stressing out. I did freak out a little when I could not understand how to add pictures. Now, I feel I have a better understanding of Word Press and I can add pictures!

I am now committed to learning more about affiliate marketing and how to earn money with my website. I also look forward to making new friends and getting input on my website.
