Nobody Needs To Know Right Now

Hello Everyone, I've been meaning to write my blog all week but I've been writing content. I'm having fun! I love to research and be challenged! My son has been doing summer school for the past two weeks, so i take those 3 hours to work on my site. When the kids go in the pool or play xbox I also get time to research, read, and write.

I wanted to let you know about my title for this post. "Nobody needs to know right now". This will age me, but there is a shania Twain song that has this phrase and i think of it every time I do something that I don't tell anyone else right away. For this site, that is what I'm doing. I want to get it before I'm judged by the nay sayers. I'm sure I would hear that I won't succeed or its a scam or its a waist of time or I should be doing something else. I used to make jewelry and spent several years doing that. They were called snaps. And they were awesome but it just didn't take off. Almost two years ago I decided it was time to put it to bed. It wasn't worth my time or effort.

I work on my sister's website, which is a boutique website, and I do her social media. Apparently I know nothing because I can't seem to make it get much traction and traffic. The website has grown since corona but the competition is great. I'm thinking its different than what we do here because she is not necessarily a narrowed down niche. She is a women's clothing boutique with great jewelry. I'm hoping by working on my own I will learn something to help her. I've started using more PInterest for her content. I think there is a ton of potential there! I also encourage her to write more blogs. The thing with her boutique is, its hers. I like that my site is mine. I am in charge of what I write about and what I put on mine.

So far I've written several posts, which have taken somewhat of a long time. I am still waiting to get indexed. I have added google analytics and google webmaster. I have been accepted to some affiliate programs. I walk 5 miles every morning and listen to the training sessions. It is awesome!

I've tried to niche down my niche.

I'm still wondering how I can get my site to look like the snack helmet site. On that page he lists all the snack helmets and the types. Can I do this with my organic anti aging products? Wouldn't this be black listing because you would be adding so many affiliate links?

Anyways, gotta get some content written before summer school is over! Hope everyone is doing well! Stay safe out there!
