Creativity from Chaos

In the midst of a bad situation, we should always look for a silver lining. I know many of you have provided good ideas for how to use this time. We here at WA have an advantage though. We have a fantastic platform that keeps us busy in endless ways.

Not so with many people out there now finding themselves at home with children. That in itself can be stressful. Ironically my daughter’s preschooler is taking classes online BUT his sisters in 2nd and 4th grade have yet to interact with their schools. I sent her a LOT of worksheets and information from one of the teachers I know. It's still difficult when teaching is not what you do.

I received this today. It’s “ART CLASS” in my daughter’s driveway. Since I’m a color person, I love it. Notice how precise all the colors are in the design. Wonder whos daughter SHE is. How dare she call ME OCD. Lol Anyway, I wanted to share this to possibly brighten your day like it did mine. She said as the kids were doing it, neighbors were walking by and encouraging them.

I have noticed as I walk around my neighborhood that kids are out walking or riding bikes with their parents. I love this. Today we get so busy working or dragging the kids to numerous activities, we sometimes lose the ability to simply stop, connect, enjoy each other and really listen to one another.

I believe that good will come out of all this. There are a lot of good people still left in the world and pulling together, we WILL make it through wiser, stronger and even more compassionate. (aside from the toilet paper issue of course).

We will have a greater appreciation for our teachers, our doctors, nurses and just simply the world around us. Spring is the perfect time to watch things come back to life.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hi, Debbi, great post! It's not easy to keep some children busy, engaged, interested, and happy. It seems like we are doing things these days which we did not learn and did before. The relearning is happening. We all are doing incredible things. The process is hard but rewarding.
Thank you so much for sharing the vibrant expression! I really like the creativity and accuracy.

Love,
Shahlla

Thank you. I think you're absolutely right!

This is a GREAT post, Debbi!👍👍

Let's hope that Spring also blooms on the end of this darned virus!

Stay safe, my friend!

Jeff

Spring is blooming all around us now! So pretty! I bet the blog dogs see it.

They do, indeed, Debbi! I do too, and am quite thankful for it--FINALLY!

That's a neat job very well executed no colour merges and looking good!! no wonder they were getting encouragement from walkers by....;
Hate to tell you this but those ain;t roses them;s double head Daffodils and don't smell as good as roses colorful and cheerful at this time of year though!!

R.

God forbid there be color merges with my daughter overseeing this project. She must get this from her father's side of the family. At least that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. lol

Really? Those aren't roses??? Always here to burst my bubble. lol I like roses better BUT I still thought they were pretty and inspiring when I took the photo on my walk around my hood.

Lols....like roses not too fond of daffodils only they provide colour and cheerful at this time of year don;t know about inspirational....;ha ha
R.

WOW. So, we agree on something--roses are better???? However, daffodils DO provide color but they're inspirational too.

Inspiration: the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.

Daffodils say: "It's Spring. Time to refresh and renew your life" You don't hear that? lol

BTW, you should post a new profile photo with the beard.

Hey,

Roses inspire me... daffodils hmmmm not so much....

there is no way on this earth that is going to happen!! It is the first time in my life that I have ever grown a beard as I am under house arrest!!. so took the opportunity to spare the skin on my face from saving....lols

My mother on her death bed made all her sons promise that we will continue to be shaven daily and well presented as when she was alive...she had a dislike for unshaven, unkempt ill presented men!! ha ha

R

Awwww, that's too bad. I might like beards as much as roses. :-(

That's OK Debbie what you like and what makes you happy is your business just like the same is mine...; ha ha

My copywriting marketing group practices the silver lining technique, Debbie. The postponement of our summit meeting due to Corona was cast in positive terms using the term excitement when it was a less than ideal decision.

Understand and that's a good thing. Stay safe!

How very cool
