YouTube Channel Launched!
Hi everybody! I hope you're all finding success here at Wealthy Affiliate. I have launched a YouTube channel and really had no experience but felt I had something I must share. So I started from ground zero and started watching YouTube tutorials on how to start a channel. I just followed the instructions step by step.
I started creating content, and using what I knew abo
ut keywords, learned about using my camera and lighting, and just started with what I had. Wow! It's been quite an experience! I started back in May, and didn't know if it would be successful but I'm hanging on! I've got about 475 subscribers and about 12,000 views.
Still learning more and more every day and just like with anything else, I'm focusing on content and making sure it's useful, quality content.
This is my first post about my YouTube channel. I know for some people it can be scary to put yourself out there on video, but you really do get used to it. Once you accept that there will always be people who don't approve of you in one way or another, the rest is just moving forward and learning how to build your YouTube channel! I am currently working on a second channel for learning English and all things learning.

Now I'm learning to edit videos. It's very fun, I've never edited a video before in my life! :)
2 hints if i might... CAMTASIA (there is crack of software through torrent - very easy to USE).
CLAP and start from previous block, every time you do something wrong... editing video and sound can be tricky... the clap will show on sound track where a cut is needed... also leave some 5-10 seconds for u to rebulid image and tinking... and start again, so you simply need to reglue the blocks and it will be VISUALLY incredibly clear on the sound track
That's exactly right. And that's what I do, where did you get that tip from (about clapping)?
And as far as CAMTASIA goes, thank you for that tip, nice!
I worked with educational videos many years ago, but actually we didn't know that :(
I believe I also saw it somewhere around the web when looking for tips.
When u clap, it ll explode the sound... and you know exactly where the cuts are ... it ll save u HOURS of life!!!
I believe the clap will even ke it easier to go back to focus and point!

I just published another video today, and it went well. Kind of nerve wracking right before you hit that "publish" button for the video, especially when the number of subscribers grows! Not the making of the video but making sure that you have all the other components in place.But thank God it went fine today. On to the next one!
