Laughter has so many positive outcomes for us. It can help our immune system and build resistance to pain. Of course it can reduce stress, we know that, but it can iimprove the flexibility of our facial muscles.
4 and 5 year olds laugh around 400 times a day so why is it that adults only laugh on average 17 times?
Because laughing generates relaxation and draws our thoughts away from the negative emotions such as anger and guilt. It's so contagious, helps others, so have a think how you can begin a ripple effect of spreading a positive mood for friends and family around you.
