There is something magical about the presence of majestic hot air balloons. I have always looked at them in awe and wanted to ride in one ever since I was a little girl. Once in awhile, I would spot them floating over the house or be surprised by a giant balloon gliding over the corn field across the street.

Open farm land surrounding the city of Kalamazoo has made a perfect welcome for hot air balloon festivals and Gull Meadow farms in Kalamazoo (on Gull road near Richland) is celebrating their 10th Annual Hot Air Balloon festival this weekend, August 12th and 13th 2023.
