Just Another Manic Monday
Woke up this morning to high winds and rain so I stayed home and did more work on my website. But I had so many interruptions - several phone calls & texts from friends, which is good but I lost count of how many robo sales calls I got. I have blocked as many as I can and I don't answer the ones that get through but they never give up. I'm really fed up with them.
I have been having problems getting my universal remote, TV, cable box & receiver connections to work correctly so I called the Geek Squad thinking they could quickly help me. Long story short, the guy was not really listening to me so we were both getting frustrated (he was not so nice). I finally told him to set up an appointment to have someone come over. Next I called the cable company. The lady was very nice and tried to help me but didn't know anything about connecting the receiver. So I did more research online, analyzed the hook ups and finally got it figured out and working. So I canceled the Geek Squad appointment and saved myself $129!
Creating my website has turned out to be much more challenging than I anticipated, but so far every time I get stuck & have a question I have easily searched & found the answer because others have had the same questions. So now I am almost ready to ask for feedback, hopefully tomorrow.

So sorry to hear that Mr. Murphy showed up, you know the,"if anything can go wrong, it will" Murphy's law.
I do hope that all that is behind you and you can continue to progress with your website. Hang in there and it will work out, sometimes it just take a bit more time.
I agree those pesky robo calls are a nuisance. I usually block those numbers so it doesn't get repeated.
