Newbie questions?
ok! I've been thinking about my landing page and doing lots of research on successful competitors. I found a site I love and it will work for marketing my ideas. I don't want to look like I copied, but is it ok to steal or should I say take someone elses ideas and modifiy them to fit your needs? I mean the "internet Police" aren't going to come and get me for theft, are they?
Can someone tell me the best place to get free photos and clip art for my site?
Everyday I get more excited about the opportunities awaiting!

I developed an idea for my campaign before checking the competition and found that there are a couple out there but they gave me more ideas. I would concentrate on how to take that idea and make it better including ways to make your page rank higher than theirs and more content to distinguish your site. Remember it will all be about who they trust more in the end before they click through the links.
Hi there Sueb99... another Newbie here :) ~~I had the same questions and came across a few sites that offer free open source/ public domain photos and clipart... check out: allgraphicdesign.com, software.informer.com, and everystockphoto.com just to name a few... Just type "open source photos and clipart" into Google and you can choose from over 400,000 open source pics! Good Luck! ~ MykellaPrince
Try Photobucket.com for your photos. You have to sign up, but that's free too. They also give you the html code you need depending on how you want to use the photos. You can also upload your own photos so you can save storage on your computer. Hope this helps and good luck.
