Seasons this time !
What is so different about seasons this time?
This year has been a very unprecedented for all of us around the globe.
With Australia it has been a little different.
Jan 2020 - Summer - Bushfire

More than 17 million hectares have burned in the Australian bushfire season 2019 October –2020 mid-January. It is reported that the fire destroyed over 5,900 buildings including over 2,800 homes. In addition to human fatalities, many millions of animals are reported to have been killed.
Jan 2020 - Feb 2020 Hailstorm

Above is the view outside Australian Parliament house, in the national capital of Canberra. The hails were as big as golf balls combined with ferocious winds of up to 117 kilometres per hour ruthlessly have ripped through Canberra in a storm that had residents running for cover. The storm, which swept across two states of Australia including firegrounds, smashed windows, dented cars and trees were uprooted several parts of the state.
March 2020 - June 2020 COVID19 + Autmn

Of course, this is a global one. The now famous COVID19 pandemic, which has impacted lives around the world and has become a great leveler, which means impartial - of religion, colour, cast, creed or nationality, rich or poor. Below is the statistic at the time of writing this post (global statistics)
June 2020 - Aug 2020 - Covid19 + Winter

That is the view of the faraway mountains, This was one particular weeked when it snowed. It was very chilly, but cold blowing on the face feels fresh.
Sept 2020 - Beginning of Spring + COVID19.

The spring began officially began on 1st September. It is an escape from the cold, at least a hope that the temperature would become warmer. It was very pleasant last week when I went for a walk with couple of friends. The distance is 6.8 kms and takes 1h 22 m to complete the walk, with a cup of home made coffee/tea.
The walk has been consistent, since the beginning of winter and hope it continues. The only thing that should discontinue is the COVID19, which nobody seems to have taken control of it YET.
Lets Hope, with the birth of Spring (Australian), positive things to happen for the humankind.
All of WAites, take care, stay safe (ACTION).
Leap to your Greatness.
Embrace the Struggle.
To your success.

Here in Qld we have experienced extreme heat, extreme cold, Drought , bush fires and, of course, Covid 19.
Let's hope we don't get floods this season. Jim
