I've been flirting with the top 200 for ...must be about a couple years now. Of course that alone won't make you any money. But, the knowledge that we gain from Wealthy Affiliate about making money online, that's at least part of the point.
I haven't really committed to achieving that rank because I knew once I hit top 200 that it takes a certain amount of effort to maintain it.

My personality is such that so long as I didn't cross the threshold I'd allow myself to bounce forward and backward without much concern.
But now that I've hit it, I'll be bothered greatly by falling behind that threshold. I'm sure at least a few of you can relate, right?
It's great to achieve rank in WA, but that does little to make one successful with Google, and let's face it, if you don't succeed with Google search engine optimization (SEO) and in social marketing, then what's the point of WA? :)
