Smiling actually makes you happier-Seriously. Our brains are hardwired to understand that we smile when we encounter something positive.
The brain release endorphins and lowers our stress levels. By smiling during situations that are less exciting. We trick our brains into believing that we are experiencing something more desirable.
That, in turn makes us feel happier. Try smiling in situations that seem monotonous, boring, or even difficult.
