Almost 2 years to break the 1,000 users daily

It's been a while since I blogged in WA but in all honesty I have put my priorities on my online business so I will try to keep this brief. As I am closing my second year in WA I will be doing a detailed blog soon about what I have achieved this 2nd year and where do I go from now on.
But it will be a couple of months before I make my annual report because I have an Amazon affiliate website and it takes a couple of months before all commisions are locked.
So until I do that I wanted to let you know that during November I broke the 1,000 users daily. Actually during the Black Friday period I came close to 1,800 daily users but now that the dust has settled down my traffic seems to have stabilized around 900-1100 users every day.
This is huge as just a few months before (until late September) i had 150 users per day at most. There was a huge explosion of traffic the last few months and now things are constantly improving. In the picture below you can see how things changed the last few months as well as my whole 2019 performance.
This increase in traffic has allowed me to finally apply for mediavine as I covered their traffic requirements.
Again I will write a detailed article about all my achievements for 2019 and my goals for 2020 but I wanted to let you know that if you don't see any improvements for long periods of time don't be discouraged. As you can see from my traffic for many months I had literally no improvement in my numbers. This can discourage a lot of people but it didn't do that to me.
I kept writting content as the training and Jay's webinars were dictating and never felt like quiting. And it seems that Google finally paid attention and in October I had my breakthrough.
I will not talk about comissions or sales here but as you obviously understand the explosion of traffic has improved all my numbers across the board.
So until I write my annual report where you will see everything and all my progress...which is very impressive I can say... all I can tell you is follow the training and Jay's webinars to the letter, create quality content, keep a regular schedule and above all have patience. It can take a lot of time before you can see any meaninful results. You will have to work a lot for a long time before Google rewards you but if you stick with it you will eventually see results.
It can take you less or more time. The variables are too many for anyone to give you a definite time frame. My website deals with home cinema equipment and movie reviews and took me 2 years to have my breakthrough. But I finally did it and now I can look at the future with more optimism. For me it was not a matter of if I can succeed. But when.
I have a lot of goals for 2020 and I will talk about them in my annual report. So until then I wish you all the best and stick to the training. WA is real and if you have the strength to keep at it you will be rewarded in the end.

Indeed it has Jeffrey. It was a long time without any results and it's actually very hard even if you are doing a niche that you are crazy about. That's why I always say to people to feel a niche that they are totally crazy about. Because when the hard period will hit them there is a less chance to give up.
Very wise advice, Stratos! I personally feel that niche selection is the most critical and sometimes difficult part of this whole process--a major foundation component!

Thank you Stratos for your insightful and inspiring post. I absolutely applaud WA members who take the time to demonstrate to the rest of us that not only does this process take a lot of hard work it also takes time.
Too often we see some members race to get everything done on their sites in the first few weeks of joining and then ask - Where is the traffic?
I say to you my friend, congratulations. Your efforts are now starting to bear fruit and I wish you continuing success.
Most people believe that if they will follow the training the money will start coming in the first 2-3 months. Even if you follow the training to the letter it can be 1-2 years before any meaningful results will start coming in. Unfortunately people don't have this kind of patience to wait and that's why we see such a high failure rate.
Agreed. Now that you have found your groove, you don't have to listen to the get-rich-quick people any more! You are definitely one to follow.
And in my turn I try to help others see the reality of things and prepare them for the long journey ahead. Only if you know what is coming you can prepare yourself psychologically for the tough times ahead.

Indeed it is. But it will feel even better when I manage to achieve my long term goal which is to make this a full time job.
