My Website Misses The Point!!

Today I felt that my website was getting into good enough shape to share it with a good friend of mine. That confidence was a big thing for me. My friend is a clever man and has a better grasp on life than most.
When I met my friend after he had seen my website I was expecting to have to answer some questions about what I am doing and explaining some of the basic principles perhaps in more detail. However, to my dismay, after looking through my website he complimented me on my new found site building skills and the apparent speed of my learning but he had no idea of what my site was talking about!!
This just destroyed my view that I was developing a website that was designed to help newbies into the fold of Wealthy Affiliate. It appears that all of my work has been in vain! I have failed to be able to adequately explain the concepts that that back up our very existence.

I have misjudged my target audience. By this I mean that I was comfortable with the thought that Wealthy Affiliate is for everyone but perhaps my target audience is only everyone who is looking to make money online. That being said, my friend has long hankered after a way to make money online.
I am aware that this may look like a bare faced attempt to get reviews and comments but if you guys could take a look at my site and offer some constructive advice and perhaps offer advice as to what I have missed out and need to add then I would be very grateful. This is not a problem that I thought I would encounter. I just need a point in the right direction. I am hoping that I can rectify this by just adding more content.
