Ditch Jetpack Plugin!
I figured out my issue, for those who asked me for an update!
I couldn't receive comments (or respond to them) directly from my site.
I contacted Site Support and they got back to me almost immediately with the solution!
They implored me to uninstall the Jetpack plugin, which I did, and now the problem seems to be fixed (thanks again, Phil), as well as my page load speed having significantly improved (apparently it was pretty bogged down)!
I don't even want to wonder how much this plugin has hindered my success over the last 6 months...:O
