Back in 1999, USA Today ran a poll that stopped people in their tracks. They asked a simple, yet staggering question: "If you could ask God one thing and get a direct, immediate answer, what would it be?"

Take a second to guess what won. It wasn't "Will I be rich?" or "Who wins the next World Series?"

By a landslide, the #1 response was: "What is my purpose here?"

Nearly three decades later, with all our technology and connectivity, that collective heartbeat hasn't changed. We are still a planet full of people searching for the "Why" behind our "What."

The "Purpose" Paradox:

Most people treat purpose like a hidden treasure map—if they just turn the right corner or buy the right book, they’ll find it. But here’s a thought that might flip the script: Purpose isn't always something you find; it’s something you build.

As the philosopher Viktor Frankl once beautifully put it:

"Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose."

When you know your "Why," the "How" becomes a lot easier to handle. Whether it’s being a lighthouse for your family, creating art that heals, or solving problems that make the world run smoother, your purpose is the unique thumbprint you leave on reality.
