My 2017 WA Review vs. Today: Rewriting My WA Review Showed Me Why I Never Left

Dear WA Family,

As I shared in my recent update, I have officially rolled up my sleeves and started the work of resurrecting my old make-money-online (MMO) site.

So far, I’ve been carving out 1 to 2 hours every day to dive into the archives. I’ve updated two major posts so far, but honestly? "Updating" is too light a word. It feels more like doing a complete, ground-up rewrite!

Yesterday, I opened up my main Wealthy Affiliate Review post, originally published back in 2017.

And as I sat there staring at what I wrote nearly a decade ago compared to what WA is today, I couldn't help but smile.

A Walk Down Memory Lane (And a Reality Check)

Reading my 2017 review felt like looking at a time capsule. Back then, the platform was already incredible, but trying to line up my old review with today's dashboard was almost impossible because of how much has evolved.

As I went line by line, checking off features to update, I found myself nodding in genuine admiration.

Think about everything that has been built, refined, and added over the years:

• The Tech Infrastructure: Lightning-fast site hosting, automated site health monitoring, and seamless security upgrades (HTTPS, SiteSpeed, SiteComments, etc.).
• Modern Tools & AI Integration: Cutting-edge research tools and AI workflow assistants that help us outline, research, and structure content in minutes rather than hours (WA Image Studio, Article Designer, Kre8or, Logo Designer, etc.).
• Evolving Training: Continuous updates that adapt directly to search engine changes, affiliate trends, and modern content strategies.

Seeing all this side by side gave me a powerful double-confirmation of why I joined in the first place. It proves just how much care, adaptation, and effort Kyle, Carson, and the entire team put into keeping us ahead of the curve.

If this is where we are today, imagine what this platform will look like in another 5 or 10 years!

Eagerly Waiting for ACE

Like so many of you, I have been keeping a close eye on the upcoming announcements. Kyle mentioned that the brand-new ACE updates are dropping in just a few short weeks, and I am genuinely excited.

In a digital world that changes overnight, having platform leaders who constantly innovate so we can stay competitive is a massive advantage. We aren't left to figure out new tech on our own, it's handed to us directly inside our dashboard.

One of the Best Decisions of My Entire Life

Looking back over my 10-year journey, I can say this from the absolute bottom of my heart: Joining Wealthy Affiliate remains one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I have zero regrets about signing up.

Years ago, even when I wasn't taking the training as seriously as I should have, the foundational principles here still helped me build a site that generated a full-time income and allowed me to work from home.

It was only when I allowed myself to get distracted, chasing shiny objects, stepping away from the basics, and losing my focus, that my momentum dropped.

We are sitting inside a community that genuinely puts our growth first. The tools are here. The support is here. The leadership is actively building for our future. Now, it's simply up to us to take full advantage of it and build the businesses we deserve.
