Today, I’m meditating on a truth that separates those who dream from those who achieve: Raising Our Standards.

Raising Our Standards - From "Should" to "Must":

We all have a list of things we "should" do. But as Tony Robbins says, "Anytime you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards." The shift happens when a "should" becomes a necessity. When something is a necessity, excuses vanish. You stop looking for an exit and start building a bridge.

"Don't lower the bar to match your energy; raise your energy to meet your standards."

Why Standards Matter More Than Goals:

Goals tell you where you want to go, but standards determine if you’ll actually get there.

• Goals are the destination; standards are the fuel.
• It’s not about winning every single day; it’s about holding the line on your daily habits, even when you don’t feel like it.
• Your life rarely rises to the level of your ambitions; it falls to the level of your standards.

"Success is just a series of small standards kept consistently over time."

The Growth Challenge:

Real growth lives in the "difficult" zone. If it’s easy, it’s likely maintenance, not progress. Let’s commit to doing the hard things—the extra outreach, the deeper research, the consistent discipline—that yield true change.

Let’s not just set the bar; let's live it. Raise your standards, keep them fiercely, and success will follow.
