Can you say a bit more about how many posts you have? How long are your posts? Have you gone through all the training here and implemented all the optimizations? And are you regularly following the weekly webinars to keep up with everything and to keep inspired?
Hi Mikael. I've only got a total of 5 posts so I need to be more focused on that realizing I need many more. I've been spending a lot of time lately on the layout of the site.
I have gone through all the trainings and feel good about the optimizations.
I can definitely improve on keeping up with the weekly webinars but I do feel inspired and like to think if I do something on the site everyday it's only going to get better.

But yes, you need a lot more content before you can expect any traffic, to be honest. So I suggest you focus on that. Following some of the weekly webinars can be a great way to also make sure you keep up to date and keep being inspired, so I can recommend that as well.
But really great to hear you are working on it every day, but just make sure you set a realistic schedule for yourself about how often you will publish new content and then stick to it. Without content, the traffic will not come.
And just let me know if you have any questions at any point.

Hi - well, it's really difficult to say, as it could be any number of things.
If you are working on your site every day, I assume you have a lot of informational content.
Ideally, you should be adding a minimum of 10 posts per month, and preferably more, to establish your authority.
So, at the 6-month stage, around 50 to 60 posts.
And these posts should be in-depth, targeting low competition keywords, everything original, nothing copied.
Showing Google that your website is helpful, not stuffed with sales pages or affiliate links in every post.
I could certainly post more often and maybe I should spend more time doing that. Thanks for your response.

Hold your hat though, he writes a lot about blowing our minds, lol!

My thought process is that they would be by the original manufacturer for product demonstrations / reviews.

I frequently use videos on informational posts, but only with product reviews when absolutely necessary.
If a visitor clicks on the video before your affiliate link, they may be tempted to watch other product-related videos that YouTube automatically offers. This can lose you the sale.

Yes, this is a good idea. Just make sure the vide is up to date.
You can embed a YouTube video on your site. Here's some training to show you how: How to Embed a Youtube Video into Your Website There are a few different trainings available I see. If you'd like to view them, search for "how to embed a youtube video" within WA.
The advantage is that your reader can watch the video and remain on your site. It would be a pity if they clicked through and bought without using your affiliate link.

How many niche-relevant blog posts do you have? Google won't take you seriously until you have 100 or more.
I’ve only got 5 so far. My priority will be focused on writing a lot more. Thanks for the advice.
