I have a problem that I cannot search the products on Amazon Associates Link Builder (WP plugin)

The error said:HTTP Request failed!cURL error 7: couldn't connect to hos

I don't use the link builder but Amazon has some tools and options within their program that might help. I don't know what the Link Builder does but I just learned how to display ads in tidy grids.

Sounds like it might be getting blocked by a firewall.

Thanks for the tip I will check this and see if it's being blocked on WP

No problem. Hope you get it sorted.

I have just set up my first site via SiteRubix and though having installed the Really Simple SSL plugin, it seems that the site still says "not secure". I haven't yet changed t

If you've only just started the site and it's full of the default content, I wouldn't worry about it saying it's not secure until you've replaced it with your own content. There are a few trainings on WA about getting your site secure.

Thank you everyone for the great help. I managed to resolve it! Turns out resetting a few things worked. Thanks again everyone for your generous help. This community rocks!!!

When you logged-in your SiteManager lock at the right you should see a link that says "Site+" this is where you will be able to enabled your SSL website

You'll want to turn on SSL for your site then make sure that each page has the padlock in the browser address bar

Thank you. I will try this!

This training will help you.

You will need to read each page. I don't know why you would use a plugin, as it is not necessary.

If you are building a website under the free SiteRubix subdomain URL, you will normally see that unless you transfer that site into a full .com or .org domain.

Thanks for the tip but site is currently under a custom .com URL

Go into your site manager, find where it says "details" in the lower right corner of the site you want to activate, then you should see SSL, activate it from there.

Thank for the help, but looks like it was active but it is still insecure. Odd. You can see the screenshot I attached
