Ranked On The First Page Of Google Search!

This week (and today, in particular) has been a bit uplifting for me in terms of my confidence in that my work over the past couple of months may start to pay off, because today I have seen my first page ranked in the top 10 search results on Google.

For the past week, I have seen from analytics that I have had some "organic" search traffic in Analytics, so I have checked on the ranking on some of my keywords and I have seen that many of my pages were beginning to rank with Bing and Yahoo, in the top 10 search rankings.

Alas, of all the search terms I typed into Jaaxy that ranked with Bing and Yahoo, not one of the same search terms ranked on Google...sigh...

Today, this changed when I noticed a couple of click throughs and was pleased to find that a page with one of my keyword phrases was ranking at No.10 and when I searched on Google, actually came up at No.6.

This is a pretty big thing for me and shows that the system here at WA actually works, which I'm sure many of the successful people here already know!

The great thing about this, is that I was very worried that the topic of my articles wouldn't rank well for a couple of reasons.

One being that, I talk about health topics and I do not have formal qualifications in this area, so I was worried about being penalized from the Google "medic" update earlier this year and the second thing is that the "health" industry is highly competitive, so I was questioning whether or not to continue to move forward with my choice.

I will say that I was also surprised that the page has ranked well, due to the topic of extended fasting being a bit controversial to some, but this particular page was the very first page that I published on my site using the keyword research method learnt from WA.

How Long Did It Take To Rank?

I started my site on the 15th of Aug this year, so it has taken me just over 2 months to get a new page ranked in the top 10, but I worked very hard and put a lot of content up in the first 5 weeks of having the site online. (I had published around 30 posts and 4 pages in that period)

I have dropped off a bit on content creation in the last month, but at this point I have 34 posts and 6 pages published and most of my posts average around the 1000 word mark, for anyone interested.

I hope this high page ranking is a sign of things to come with other posts and pages on my site and can convert into some sales.

All I can say to everyone out there, is to keep pushing on and following the training and be patient and productive.

Up until this week, I was beginning to feel a bit deflated with not getting much traffic or getting ranked highly, but I feel the tide may be changing finally!
