Hi folks,
Several years before I discovered Wealthy Affiliate, I was an SBI owner. While I don't want to bash Site Build It, they definitely didn't live up to the hype in their videos or sales pages. In fact, I never renewed for a second year since I didn't really learn anything about building a website that gets traffic.
Sure, I had a decent looking website, but it wasn't making me any money and I didn't know if it ever would. I didn't learn how to analyse my traffic (if I had any) or what I needed to do to monetize it. I really didn't learn much of anything.

The keyword research tool didn't give very accurate monthly search data in my opinion and I never learned how to properly do keyword research.
It wasn't very easy to get from the community either. They do have a forum but helpful are they? You may have to wait a day or two to get an answer if you get one at all.
I could make a pretty substantial list of the advantages to learning internet marketing through Wealthy Affiliate over SBI but I just wanted to mention a couple of them here.
The way the training is laid out here at WA and the ability to tap into so much wisdom and experience in real time is enough of reason to choose WA over SBI in my humble opinion.
