Not Looking Back

So after being encouraged to write a blog post for WA during the training i really struggled at first to think of a single thing to blog about. Now i know that no-one reading this knows me personally but if those who do, heard me say i struggled for anything to say they definatley would have laughed and laughed and probably phoned some-one to tell them that Steve finally had nothing to say.

But writing for an audience can be and is intimidating especially to people who are not used to it. As for me my background is door to door sales so you would think i would have found this easy; but no thats not the case . Writers block is what they call it a bloody mind melter is what i have named it .

After a long thought process i thought i would direct this blog to the newbies as it were . when i first started knocking doors and pitching complete strangers i was nervous often my face would go bright red and my pitch went out of the window . For three months i was constantly on the verge of quiting but i had a new wife and child and jobs were rare at the time so i stuck it out .

Because of my determination to stick it out i ended up being one of the top ten door canvassers in my county and in the top twenty five in the country at one point . Why am i telling you this and what does it have to do with people new to Wealthy Affiliate ?

The reason is this i dabbled in online marketing for awhile then i found WA well what an overwhelm at the amount of training available . I nearly gave up a few times well infact i quit once and came back obviously . Then i remembered my days on the doors in a cold and rainy Yorkshire and what i had learned from my peers at the time .

The best advice i ever heard about mistakes was from a canvass manager who said and I quote "The best way to move forward is to let go of your mistakes and wrong turns is by NOT LOOKING BACK . Take your yesterdays mistake Steve and turn them into todays successes and tomorrows and the next day. Needless to say i took his advice and finally brought that to WA .

When i started i thought i wasnt good enough to create a website didnt have a niche or even an idea .So i muddled through the training and finally i got it and relaxed .

So now i can write a blog about my little successes the first was creating my website within the siterubix , i took my mistakes and turned them into success i can now say not only have i got a website up my own domain name and e-mail address but also the mighty Google has only gone and Indexed my website (yeah).

So in ending this short blog post i would like to encourage all new starters to WA to keep going one task at a time and you will get there of that i am now in no doubt .

Heres to you and your success

Thanks for reading my first blog post within WA

Steve

Nice job! Never give up!

Jeff

Congratulations for not giving up. Anyone can quit, but it takes a strong person to keep moving ahead even when you don't feel confident.
Ray

thanks for reading and for the encouragement onwards and upwards as they say

Welcome, Steve!! Excellent post! I enjoyed your journey of overcoming the fear of 'the first one'. Now that you have that out of the way, go create some content! I think you have a bright future.
