Is your time worth money?

Hi Folks,

Here it is. My first WA blog post! I hope it's OK...? ;-)

Is your time worth money? Do you go to a J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) every day to earn just enough to get through to the next pay? Maybe you do make a good salary and even enjoy your job.

For myself, I think my time is worth MORE than I make. After all, it’s MY quality time that’s used from MY life to make a little money for myself and a lot for my employer in comparison! I’m finding that it’s REALLY taking up most of my free time as well! My QUALITY time. If there’s a push on to get things done, I get to see my family for hardly any time in the morning, work my day and then some overtime and by the time I get home my kids are in bed. My wife and I then prepare for the next day of the same routine and maybe enjoy some downtime together to watch the tube. What is that!?

Where is the QUALITY of life? Where is that SPICE of life? I crave more. My family deserves more.

Don’t get me wrong.

I do like what I’m doing and I really appreciate the company and people I work with. I’m very thankful that I have a steady job. I've been doing this type of routine for 25 years now. That’s ¼ of a century! This, in my opinion, is a habit that society has just accepted. It’s “normal”. It’s “just the way things are”. For me, I’m ready to start living to live and stop living to work. Why am I settling for a life where I’m told when to be there to start work, when I can eat my lunch and how long it should take and finally when I can go home for the day. I don’t want to worry about making the decision whether to buy bread instead of milk just because the van needed unexpected repairs. Sorry kids, we can’t afford to go and see Grampa this weekend. We’ll have to wait until next month. What if there isn't a next month!? I don’t want to worry and wonder about my family’s future any more. I want the freedom to do what we want when we want without compromising one thing for another.

To do that I finally realize that it’s ME who has to take the first step towards achieving my goal! It’s ME who has the same options as anyone else to change the way things are. I believe that here at WA I've found my best chances at developing a successful online business. A place where I can learn what I need at any pace I'm willing to put in. I've tried other um, "business ventures" online and am tired of all the big promises with little to no delivery.

It’s time to shake out the cobwebs of what’s normal or expected. I've started my journey toward freedom. It cost me nothing to get started! I've signed up for the premium membership now also. I know it will take time to get this going to where I will be job optional. I'm OK with that. But it's not going to come unless I get started. I'm on my way now and I can't think of another place I'd rather be a part of and train. Thank you Kyle and Carson for setting up this awesome community of training and guidance!

In my opinion again, unless you’re happy with the routine… waiting any longer is a waste of your valuable time! Do the training. Stay engaged! Let's get to where we want to be. Where we deserve to be. I'm certain I'll get there before another 25 years goes by!

Wishing you all the best that life has to offer.

Take care folks.

Steve
