What exactly is a newbie?
This term has always irritated me. When I started out I knew a bit about website building and social media. So I was not exactly new. However once you get on peoples mailing lists. (Big mistake, my advice is get off them ASAP). You find you are sent so many emails about SEO, Video Creation, How to market on Facebook, Twitter and so many other things. I started building my first website, and guess what? Yes I bought loads of plugins that were meant to improve SEO, social integration, and make my site great. I even bought software that would create an Instant Amazon store. Did any of these help me.
The answer is no. I just wasted money and got sent outdated stuff, or software that needed an update to make it work better. I learnt that you need to find people you can trust. I also learnt that many so called guru training sites do not explain everything simply, and fully. If you think about it, there is an obvious reason for this. If they did then they could not sell you an up sell. So my advice is get off mailing lists. Stick to building and promoting your business and do not buy anything that gurus say will help. In wealthy affiliate you get all you need here. So in answer to my question What Exactly Is a Newbie? We all are, some of us start out knowing nothing, some of us have experience, and some of us are experts. However we all are continually learning either through good and bad experiences, or learning about new technologies and syetems as the internet and social media changes

I agree although I also feel it's important to read wider on the subject, WA has a lot to offer but there are many other successful people out there who blog and do know what they're saying on the subject matter. I suppose being critically aware is something that WA can teach you through these types of conversations.
There rae a lot of great people who do blog and who do give good advice, However I think it is important to remain cautious until you know who to trust
So when do we graduate from being newbies to oldbies? Wait! I don't want to be known as old anything so I think I'll stay a newbie. WA is a NEW experience and nothing else compares to it on the net. So being called a newbie here is a compliment as I am so proud to be part of this community. It takes time but we are finally building our businesses the right way! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
I share your sentiment. I see some people with limited experience creating trainings and tutorials 'for newbies', and this just by rephrasing stuff from Kyle's lessons. This looks funny.
I know i have even been mailed before and offered training videos to use. Honestly they sometimes think we are all niave and would fall for buying outdated and not complete training. Here at WA we get overprovided

So True! Thats where I find the more you learn the more you realize how little you actually know.
I fully understand that feeling it is so true
