Maybe I should slow down.

I have been adding post after post and page after page but am not 100% on how to get my traffic yet. I tweet whenever I post things, I have been posting daily, and I feel like I might be doing something wrong. I do have $8 already worth of adsense income, but I was expecting more. I know it's only been two weeks, but I might need to slow down. Re read all the training courses over again. Do you guys think that's a good idea?

And also, check out the work I've put into my site. I've been spending every free second I have working on it and creating my own videos with reviews, and I might need to go in a different direction. I was thinking of creating a category called "product breakdown" and really just talk about how I like certain products pertaining to my niche. Hope you guys have some ideas for me. Thanks everyone!

Wanted to offer you a few pieces of advice (Your site looks great visually), just based on what I've seen of your site (Feel free to ignore this, I'm not telling you what to do).

First, try going back and saving your header, logo, and featured images as .pngs. Jpeg images are blurry, and they look ugly. Reupload the .png version and see if that helps. It might not, you might need to remake the logo using a .png to get rid of the blurriness, but if it doesn't bother you, stick with what you've got! Just my opinion.

Second, you're writing a lot of content, but it's not very rich content. The videos are good, but your posts need to be longer. Even the ones without videos are under 400 words - Google won't even take that seriously a lot of the time, especially not from a young site. Older, authority sites may be able to get away with this, though. Your full review of uncharted fortune hunter is under 600 words.

I have a site in the gaming niche too (won't go into specifics), and I occasionally review games as well. I divide my reviews into multiple sections, going over the visuals, story (If any, I know that doesn't always apply in mobile games), gameplay, and premise. I shoot for at least 1300 words, but 1000 would be the bare minimum. The longer the better. You'll honestly be surprised how quickly you rack up a word count when you just start talking about the games you love (Or hate) as if you were talking to another person. See how long this message got? Use a conversational tone and your word count will likely bump up.

I'd recommend changing your menu up a bit - Since your primary focus is mobile games, having whole menu items dedicated to developing apps and your scoring system seems pointless and out of place. Rather, what I'd do is shift your privacy policy to the sidebar or footer, and have the "Review scoring system" as a sub-menu item underneath your "About" menu item. Then move your app creation pages to a sidebar menu as well, or at least combine them into one menu item.

This frees up a lot of menu space for you to categorize your game reviews, or to have something like "Top recommendations", etc.

Remember, user experience. Why is a user coming to your site? Probably not to learn to develop games (Though this is a good way to catch their eye if its in the sidebar). More than likely to get an idea of what some of the best mobile games are - That's where you come in.

Let me know if you have any questions, agree, or disagree with any of this - The reason I'm being so in-depth and a bit critical is because I see you have the same passion and drive that I have. I don't meet a lot of people like that, so when I do, I want to do whatever I can to help.

Wow. Thank you so much for all of this input. I will be looking into creating a side menu like you said and moving my privacy page to the foote . I need to play around with it. I keep changing things trying to get a feel for what works and what you recommended is awesome. Most of my reviews are around the 1000 word mark, but that one was a bit shorter. Maybe I'll add more. Thanks so much for all this info. I will be utilizing your suggestions and be making changing soon. Thank you so much!

Wow! Great critique. I'm listening too.

Cool website.

Thanks!

I agree. You should slow down. Read the monetizing and social media training--that's where I'm at promotion.

Will do thanks!

I have blogged before about starting again and I (and people that responded) think it is a very good idea. Not everything sinks in the first time round

Don't really want to restart, just need a reboot. Only been at this for 2 weeks lol

You get followers by following others read some of Yakitori's blogs, they're good. Interaction gets you great followers..get involved in the community...it's about giving first. I am working on building up a huge following and once they are in my 'net' then I will lead them to my website. You will get them here as well if you work it......the people here are your buyers as well even though you can't spam them...you can help them and they'll help you....You will have to work it out from here. Don't think me, think them!

Thanks. I will keep this all in mind. I will also check out those blogs u mentioned.

Check out some of mine as well, thanks!

Ok great!

Make sure you comment on anyone in your team here or on Twitter or on fb that draws people to you. No matter how good your blogs are it't the interaction that creates the results. I hope this helps you?

Thanks buddy. I am not familiar with social media. I think I just need more followers.

Nice work.

Thanks! I hope this all works out

it will.
