What To Do With These Old Affiliate Sites
I understand the process of affiliate marketing and have 8 affiliate sites. Unfortunately last September they took a big hit. Around the same time of Penguin and the EDM update Amazon stopped carrying the products that were making money so now these pages are redirected by Amazon to 'We're sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site' Home Page.I've since given up on them and concentrated solely on my clients. I have been thinking about dropping the affiliate sites completely or concentrating on only one. I cannot decide how to best rid myself of the other sites. Let them go, sell them, redirect them, use them to link to other sites. They are not related to one another so not sure how well redirects or linking will work.
I've thought about finding someone selling the physical products Amazon no longer carries and work out something with them. The truth is all of this takes a lot of time and energy to really make it work. The old methods no longer work and doing multiple sites is too hard to handle these days.
I really don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to affiliate marketing because it distracts me and takes time away from working on my www.seoimr.com site and handling clients. It’s enough to get my own site dialed in while handling client’s sites.
I was beginning to get a taste of success when my sites peaked at earning me $300 a month last year.
I still have an interest in affiliate marketing but I know now I can’t deal with more than one site to make it work properly.
The affiliate sites are not doing anything now and I would rather not have them at all because it feels like unfinished business. I even thought about redirecting them all to my facebook fan page.
I’ve spent very little time in WA because of my busy schedule. Anytime I do watch a training video I get good information. I never took the beginning steps to go through the WA training because I already know a lot and I’m looking for the golden nuggets. I’m not sure I want to spend time on affiliate marketing when I see the better focus is on paying clients. I do like the idea of being free of depending on clients if serious money could be earned from one Amazon site. I’m just not sure amazon affiliate marketing makes sense anymore.
Knowing my main focus is on clients, I would like to know any suggestions for the best way to consolidate affiliate sites or any recommendations of what to do with them.

I'm finding myself in the exact same situation these days. I would love to do a few affiliate sites but I have my own blog and clients. I've thought about selling too but that takes time and effort just to get them listed properly.
In the end I think selling them is probably best but I don't think you'll ever really get what they're worth. Sorry, I know I didn't help but at least you know you're not the only one.
I'm an ex business broker and I can tell you if they're not earning money it's highly unlikely to get anything. When someone buys any type of business they want to know the return on their investment. Probably end up having to sell for less than invested. Can't get a return on the past seo or time invested. I'm probably at a break-even on my sites. At one time I was thinking about building these sites and flipping them but its no longer feasible with the difficulties of making affiliate commissions today.
