You are Probably Using too Many Affiliate Links

I finished the main training. I could have definiltey done it faster, but I found myself really digging into the content creation and started following the videos less regularly.

This was a big mistake as its so important to methologically make time for learning and I was happy to have come to finish the last coure this week.

Within the course Kyle went into further detail on his linking strategy and how it affects google but also the customer's purchasing cycle.

Where do Affiliate Links go?

Basically, its good to have informational posts be only that with no affiliate links. When mentioning a product you can hyperlink it to an additional page that reviews that product (or maybe part of a round up post).

Although it is an additional step for the reader to click on that affiliate link, you are setting them up better to purchase when they do.

Its time to re-evaluate

I don't know about you, but this was really revealing to me on how I can better organize my content. Besides continuing with my 2 posts / week, I am going back to all my current posts (whopping 38 posts) and re-evaluating where I have placed affiliate links.

Now that I have more content too, I am linking some newer articles to older posts. This is actually a pretty fun excercise (although a bit tedious).

I am excited about this new piece of instruction and I hope it can help anyone else who might be wondering about their linking strategy...

If you haven't done the last trainning yet, definitely follow through- it will be worth your time, I promise1

A small win...

This is a tiny tiny win, but I had my first ever comission on Amazon. It ended up being a whole 34cents but it still felt good. I had a purchase a month or so a go but it turned out it was me by mistake due to cookies.

What's the latest traininng you have done on WA?

Keep up the great work

Stellar progress, Stephanie!

Awesome information. Thank you for sharing

Yes Stephanie doing this kind of linking and back linking is something I remember being pushed in the training. I just learned as well that you need to have proper descriptions with your images so that when platforms like Pinterest scrape your data it will index them more highly because you took the time out to properly describe them
