About Stephanek
Joined January 2013
I'm Stephanie,55 year old, carpenter, do residential remodeling with my husband. My free time is spent crocheting/sewing. I stumbled onto the Wealthy Affiliate site months ago, but never took time to participate. I feel technologically challenged and a little paranoid about putting myself out there in the WWW. I don't do facebook either. HELP! I'm not sure this is for me, but here I go. Wish me luck.

That was April 2013. Today is May 11. Thanks to WAU I now have accounts with Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ and still signing up. I am no longer afraid of the WWW. I have respect for it and can tell it to respect me. My typing has improved 100 percent.

I have met such supportive people here. I have a website and a new vocabulary. My new hobby/addiction is to learn. Who would ever have thought I would be back in school at 55.

Today is January 28, 2014. Starting over. Things should make more sense the 2nd time. Still remodeling and intend to pick my brain about all the knowledge I have, but take for granted. My site should be about helping the average person to understand Shen they can do a task and when they need help from a pro. Maybe this will be a twofold blessing, as I do not have a website for my business.

Thank you for the complement. You know they say you have to hang with the winners , so I'm hanging on tight. Have a great weekend.

I'm so stuck on this niche thing, looking at the bootcamp, too. As I sift through all this info and compare it to what I do on line, things are becoming a little clearer. I think I need to have several sites, as I rarely visit them more than once. I have enough ideas to keep a few "how-to" sites going and always WAU.

Am I asking for trouble? I cannot seem to settle into "one & only". Thanks.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with being ambitious. As long as you're finished with 'Getting Started' training levels, multiple websites shouldn't be an issue. I haven't started Bootcamp yet because I'm still going through Getting Started. But, like you, I'm going to have to have more than just one website. Just looking through "Keyword Lists", there's no way I can just have two or three. But for now I just have to stick with my first one and complete all the training levels. You're ambitious and loaded with ideas, Stephanie... that is awesome, you're going to do great... one step at a time!

Hello StephaneK. I have only just signed up to pinterest. It's a bit of a mystery still. I wish I could help. I bookmarked my page when I made it because I didn't think I'd find it again. Can you do a search for yourself on the site? I do wish I could help. Let me know if you manage it so I can follow you. Jackie x

Hi Stephanek, thanks for the welcome. I see you have quite a following already. I'm pretty new to the online opportunities too; there's a lot to learn, but that's what makes it interesting. I don't get to spend as much time here as I would like, but hopefully that will change in the near future as I become more proficient and have more time to socialise. Cheers for now

Hi, Stephanie! Thank you for following me and I am doing the same for you :o) It's been a few months since you joined WA and I hope you have been making good progress toward your goals. I understand that all of this can be very scary at first. But, I've learned soooo much (including ways to keep myself as safe and secure as possible online) that I'm convinced I made the absolute right decision joining the WA community.

Best Wishes to you and always feel free to give me a holler if you need anything!

Thank you. The time has really flown by. I am learning and that alone is terrific. I feel myself gaining momentum. It has been quite a while since I was in school.

Thank you Marie. I'm swimming again, but still treading water. I find that I'm confused when I stop and then when I go back at it, I have gained something. Still not sure where to begin after I have website is up, but I think I better start writing, writing, writing

Hi Veronica,

Desperately trying to finish this basement remodel, but the customer is always right, right?'

I did check out clickbank, etc. Now I get where the $$ come from, partly anyway. I've decided to really spend some hard work on the niche and not be in the hurry I was when I was first so excited. This really takes work, but with persistance and support from all over, I believe success is inevitable. I have found lots of lessons on wordpress too. There is so much information out there on how to do this thing. It can be too much. I'm back here at WA starting more slowly this time. I've missed chatting though.

Just sayin' hey, Steph

Hi Steph,

Took a few days off over Easter so sorry for the late reply...
Did you get it figured out how to find products?

It depends on your niche where to start... Feel free to leave me another message with a little more info and I will be happy to help you out,

Have a great day,
Veronica

Thank you Veronica. I can see that I need to stick to the lessons for things to become clearer. I can also see that I need to commit more time for success. For now I'll be a weekend warrior, knowing that with people like you in WA I can become a "hit". I can hardly wait to make my full-time partnership work part-time. Enjoy Spring wherever you are.

Stephanek welcome to WA. I didn't have a Facebook page until recently either. I only set one up to access a training group that used Facebook.

Once you've been around the community awhile and have completed some of the training you will get a better feel if WA is the right place for you. I can tell you that if you are looking to build an online business with a step-by-step system and lots of support along the way, you're in the right place.

Hi There and Welcome to WA!

As you are just new to the community I'd like to take this opportunity to say hello and let you know that I am here to help you get started.

I've helped 1000's of people over the years build thriving online businesses and the Wealthy Affiliate platform will provide you the tools and training to succeed as well.

Kyle, myself, and many other very helpful people hang out at WA and are always willing to lend a hand.

If you have any questions I suggest using the Live chat as you will get answers very quickly. Or you can ask questions within tutorials, blogs, or directly to other members on their Spaces.

Here is the initial training that I suggest you get started with:

Thank you for your welcome letter, I just got started about four days ago, so I missed your note until now. I'm progressing slowly, but surely. Actually I just got on Facebook last week too. Just learning to navigate. Thanks for so many opportunities. I am trying to tell my friends to check it out for themselves. Back to work, Steph.

I'm glad you had a chance to come back and check things out Steph. Everyone who is a member of Wealthy Affiliate has an equal opportunity to achieve huge success online if they take action and follow the training. We honestly have a step-by-step system in place where you can follow the training, complete tasks, and build a business.

You'll do very well if you are active here at WA!
