We Are Not Seeking the Buyer
I just had a thought and wanted to share it with you.
I have been in sales for the last 30 years. I believe there are lookers, who may turn into buyers, and there are 2 types of buyers: those who need to be assured they are making the right decision and those who have already made the decision and are just waiting to act on it. We are their deciding factor. We are the ones who are "the Experts" in our fields; they are coming to us for guidance and advice.
A very important point to remember is the internet is a reversal from any other type of selling from the dawn of man.
We are not seeking the buyer, the buyer is coming to us and comparison shopping with a multitude of others who are "offering the same thing." We need to let them guide themselves, with our assistance, into make the buying choice that we know will make a major difference in their life. When we are talking about joining Wealthy Affiliate, we are also talking about a new endeavor, an endeavor that may make a major difference to their lives, but will not break the bank as they start out. Yes, it does involve a bit of the art of persuasion, but the rewards they (and you) will reap will be something we will all be thankful for. That's a pretty awesome thought to have.
