"There are no coincidences in life!" - An old friend keeps repeating. Who knows, he may well be right.
Last week I googled new side hustle ideas for my freshman niece. Somewhere on the first SERP page popped up a site that intrigued me because a trade colleague (electrician) wrote it. And he offered good side-hustle reviews, and he knew how to mince his words. So, I continued reading.
It turned out he switched from full-time electrician to full-time Internet marketer and even offered to show me for free how he did it minus the mistakes he made on the way. I was already intrigued, so why not, and I landed on the Wealthy Affiliate opt-in page.
You see, I'm toying with an old itch of mine to start a blog since retirement about two years ago. I'm quite interested in content marketing, I know a thing or two about B2B copy writing, and lately, I read a lot about affiliate marketing. But that's all out of pure curiosity. Plus, I have to dig all over the place to get bits and pieces of the puzzle. And here - Bang, WA offers me all of that for free and more. No up-sale funnels, no hidden costs, no Credit Card required to sign in either.
No brainer! I'm in, and I quickly realise that my old friend may well be right - "There're no coincidences in life!". I found what I am subconsciously looking for - a one-stop-shop for all my interests.

Now, I'm aware that my "blogging career" will not happen overnight. It'll most probably be a long and winding road. But I'm prepared to face the challenge because I feel the support of this whole WA community thing.
