I'm off and running.
Hi everyone,
Welcome to my first blog post. Eeep!
I joined WA on 7th of December and I must say I am completely surprised/proud at how far I've come and my website has progressed, in such a short amount of time.
So far I am really loving this platform and that most of all, I'm being completely challenged and pushed out my comfort zone (like writing this blog post for example!).
The most difficult thing has been getting over putting myself out there. We are encouraged to write an About Me page, personalise our website, and really put ourselves out there. This for me has been really difficult, but I have done it. I think putting anything on the "big wide web" is scary (for me anyway) and especially adding your name and branding it.
Today I noticed that my website has been indexed in Google (yay!) and I'm starting to see the progress and work take shape. This is really exciting and I know that with my determination there is no reason why I shouldn't have the kind of online success I want - all the tools and resources are here.
I know it wasn't a long one, but thanks for reading.

Awesome, Stacey! Yep, I understand it can be difficult to promote yourself at first. But, this creates an emotional connection with your readers and shows sincerity and attachment to a real human being.
