Making Progress

Hi everyone. I just wanted to post an update as to where I am in the training process. I have completed about 63% of the Mastering Social Engagement module. So far, I have created two websites, livelylips.com andhealthyherbalhub.com. As you can tell by the domain names, they are dedicated to very different subjects but I am passionate about both and believe I have something worthwhile to offer.

I've received notification that one of my websites ranked on Google; however, it must have ranked beyond page 10 because that's how far I checked. I suppose I need to create a lot more content with keywords and get more discussion going. One question I have is about keywords....Is it better to have more than one key word in the same post/article? I know a good rule of thumb is not do "load up" with links or repeat keywords a lot, but what about using different keywords within the same post?

To sum it up, I am really enjoying the learning process and have decided to continue with the training. I was hoping I would be making some commission early on; however, I realize now that this is a business venture, and like any business, it takes an investment of time and effort to get things in place and start making money. Thank you to everyone who has provided comments on my posts, followed me or helped in any way! This is a very supportive community!

Great question, it's actually encouraged to use multiple related keywords within an article. You can sprinkle these throughout. (Main keyword within the title, a related keyword as one of your headings, another related keyword towards the bottom, for example).

This is actually more beneficial than creating separate articles which cover the same topics or using closely related keywords over and over, which is something that should be avoided.

Also, one article can rank for dozens of related keywords. If you are ranking (highly) for one keyword, often you will rank highly for related terms. Which makes life easier :)

Hopes this answers the question, and congrats on the ranking. (You may be ranking higher than you think due to related terms).

You are certainly on the right track here!

Thanks for answering my question, Jason! I appreciate the info.
