Taking the big step!
I recently completed Course 1 and Course 2. My Web site (footchic.com) is up and running, and now I am applying for affiliate marketers through Rakuten LinkShare. Admittedly, I am excited! Even though I do not have any marketers nor made any money yet, the excitement is in the feeling of "control." Being an "employee" has never given me any control of my destiny as much as being part of WA! There is a lot to be said for "being the captain" of your ship and charting your destiny for yourself.
There is a pride in running your own business that just cannot be experienced working for somebody else! There is also a confidence that begins to build inside you, and it grows exponentially with every success and every win! Joe Average and Mary Typical may have got a raise and promotion at their last review with Jive Corporation, but people here at WA increase his or her lot without the need for pretentious behavior! Here at WA, you get out of it what you put into it, so success is not predicated on the whims of some corporate mogul (who typically does not know who you are, or even cares)!
People here at WA also show a camaraderie to which the over hyped "team work" pushed for in most corporate cultures pale in comparison. The folks here at WA assist one another and encourage each other! I believe it is because "we are the 99% versus the 1%" that has been talked about so much around the world! WA people are "main street" people and you can see this from all the blogs, posts, and messages where people are reaching out and helping one another!
I am very happy to be here, and very excited about the future!
