I like tooting my own horn. I think we should all, at some point, come out of our "humility" shell and brag a little about the things we've accomplished. For instance, I once ate a whole jar of mayonnaise in under 10 minutes! And if you need something to be grateful for, you can be glad you weren't the maid that had to clean up the bathroom afterwards.

But good things are happening with my website and I thought I'd let everyone know what's going on. The reason? Because this may be bragging, but it's not just MY success. It's OUR success. I brag on behalf of everyone here because, quite frankly, I could have NEVER done this without WA and all of you awesome, smart, knowledgeable people that inhabit it.

Recently I've received two separate emails via my website wanting me to preview certain film projects. That means that my "little website that could" is making the rounds on the internet landscape and giving me some serious horror cred. BTW, in case you don't know, my niche is horror and my website is http://www.horrorcabin.com

I've been getting a lot of love on Facebook and especially Twitter. Sometimes I think I need an assistant to keep up. So if anyone knows of someone willing to work for free and is NOT an 8 year old Asian child, let me know. I'm not Nike after all.

The last email I received was from a production company that wants me to review their film before its release. Why is that important you ask? Thanks for asking! Because usually it's only the "giants" (to quote an AWESOME blog post written by my friend here PowerQ You should all go and read it now actually! ) that get early access to horror films in order to review them. My website is only 5 weeks old. This is the equivalent of a baby riding a bike. or me actually getting a girlfriend. Almost impossible in other words!

Despite my laid back attitude and total lack of mastering the English language (words is hard), I take my website very seriously. And I work at it every single day. If I would have taken my life half as serious I would probably still be married. And sober. And have some idea about where my pants went last weekend. But I digress.

What I'm saying is 5 weeks ago I found this website quite by accident. And I had NO IDEA I even WANTED to have a website of my own. I had no clue what to do or how to start. Two days later, after going through the lessons step by step, my site was up and running. So when I say "This is all due to WA and the people that helped me along the way" I ACTUALLY MEAN IT WITH ALL MY HEART. I'm not placating or using false humility for my own bragging rights. Some people come here knowing what this site is about. I just clicked a link accidentally and had no idea what "Wealthy Affiliates" was. So thank you to everyone who has ever looked at my site, gave me feedback, or answered one of my million questions.

but that whole mayonnaise thing? Yeah, that was all me baby! Where were you to talk me out of that?? :)
