Can someone give me good or bad feedback about the azon theme?
He Jon! Nice to see you again, that's quite a long time ago! How are you doing, besides the problems with this theme.

Is it a bad idea to put your affiliate banners on other webpages other than your affiliate product page? Thank you!
I agree with that. Right now I am using Google Adsense and some of the ads do not fit well with my niche. That's why I am considering taking Google Adsense down and just adding a few strategically placed affiliate banners.
Hi Jon! -
How are you?
Just remember where ever you place banners - you don't over do it! Nothing looks worse than a webpage full of banners! :)

I am unclear on keywords. If I find a keyword, let's say, "home schooling", for example and when I put those words in the keyword tool I get good results. But I want more than
You have the main key words in the title and that is fine, then try and get your keywords in the first paragraph must flow naturally though
hi JonFW, as long as you keep the main keywords in that phrase you should be fine. you can add words at the beginning or at the end of your main keywords. hope this helps.
You've got some good feedback already, I would also say that Google indexes your posts in a very intelligent way, and you will find that it will rank you on what it thinks your page is about, not what you try to make it appear. So yes obviously use keywords, but you can't make google rank you for certain keywords. You have to craft a good informative article that will contain multiple variations of keywords and similar phrases that back up what you are talking about. So in your example, home schooling, you can simply look on google and see what other phrases google considers to mean the same thing, and use them also. Craig
Do you use Yoast, if not you can see a tutorial on my website about, the where and how to fill in your keywords, http://workathomefuture.com/search-engine-optimization-keyword-lesson
Success, I read already a couple of great answers below:)
if home schooling exists in the title it's enough to give Google a hint on what you are writing about. Trying to rank for specific keyword phrase doesn't always work. In many cases Google ranks sites for keywords you even don't expect.
Kyle seemed to like to add words to the keyword (at the end). So if you want to use "home schooling" he might make it "home schooling- 5 reasons you should do it" or something like that. The more specific you can be the better.
Also do a search in the search bar for keywords you will see plenty of training and tutorials on how to do keyword research..
I would say you use the exact phrase that gives you good results to be safe. Remember google will rank you based on the exact phrase that you use.
Hi there, I just checked it out, and am still learning myself, but I see that in Jaaxy you could use
online home school courses searches 206 with only 73 as QSR
K12 online home schooling 9507/42
Online home school education 471/27
Use the keyword phrases and maybe add something else to the heading with your phrase to make it more attractive,
for example: Top 10 Online home school education programs?
does that make sense?
Hi
I would still use it people like reading lists. I just did a search with the keyword tool here for just home schooling and I got many other keywords. Just type in home schooling you will see
Hope this helps
Thank you for your answer. Actually, "home schooling" was just an example. Really my question is, if you find one or two really good keywords, will it destroy their value if you put other words around them to make an interesting title.
I would think the title is the first thing a person sees so there is no harm in doing it. Using long tail keywords it will be easier for you to rank. The more interesting the title is the better. Look at a Men's Health and fitness magazine there are catchy titles everywhere.
Hope this helps..

Hey Jon,
Most affiliate programs won't take you serious unless you've invested the $10-$15 per year for a real domain name (YourSite.com). They assume because you aren't willing to spend that on your business you probably won't be a very good affiliate. So it's important to invest in a domain name for Google and any other affiliate program.
Setting up and buying your domain is taught here: WA Hosting - Setting Up Your Domain DNS
So give that a shot. Tech support can also help you with that:

Buy a top level domain name (.com, .org or .net) and host it on SiteRubix. It will cost around $10 a YEAR and is well worth the tiny outlay. I'm sure Google Adsense will then look favorably on your application. ~Marion
Type in AdSense at the top of your page where you will find a great deal of information that will walk you through the steps.
