My Blurb of the Day
I've just spent a few hours catching up on my emails, reading everyone's new blogs and comments, and have decided to share my 'blurb' of the day.
Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my sister, telling her how I was feeling out of sorts, not happy with my progress, feeling I was slow compared to other WA members. I decided to take the day off and did nothing on my site. I went to bed feeling a little depressed and didn't like that I was questioning if I had taken the right decision by signing up.
This morning I had a small breakthrough with my site and understood that I have to stop comparing myself to others, some will move ahead faster and have success quicker, while others will progress at a slower pace than I have. Comparing myself to everyone else will only have a negative impact on my progress.
Lesson learned :)

Glad you came up with that solution I a slow compared to some however it does not matter to me for I have my own agenda and I am progressing , achieving goals when I joined there were some who seemed to make income very quickly whilst I struggled

Comparing is always a waste of time; you could be creating instead.
Glad you didn't give up and had that breakthrough moment. Sometimes it's good to step away for a day... Don't even think about your web site—let your subconscious do the thinking! Fun fact: Einstein came up with his theory of relativity in a taxi. Not in a lab, or library, or office..... No! In. A. Taxi.

Yes, don't compare and don't be hard on yourself! One of the greatest things I have learned here is that success is possible by simple steps and diligence, and that the payout may be delayed but all the work you are doing now WILL pay off if you are persistent. We must not plow, plant, care for the seedlings, and then abandon the field before it has had a chance to really grow. Let's work hard now to enjoy an ongoing harvest in the future. Here's to a bright 2016!
