Happy New Year
Wishing everyone only the best for 2016, on my bucket list is to make it to Vegas. My sister has decided to spoil her hubbie and myself, get us started with a bang, she's serving lobster for diner tomorrow night!

Happy new year Sylvie! Vegas is not on my bucketlist, meeting Kyle and Carson and you are on my bucketlist, to bad it has to be in Vegas, hope they can arange something in Paris for us europeans, hate to fly.
I agree, went to Europe for the first time in 2014, absolutely loved it, it was my retirement present, looking forward to going back. I love seeing things from the air but like you am uncomfortable being on long flights so we actually crossed the Atlantic by ship, something I can now cross off of my bucket list, really nice way to get to Europe. When I go back I'll let you know so that we can say hi in person. Cheers, Sylvie :)
Yes, that would be nice, I reckon I have to put the kettle on daily in about 5 years from now, when all my friends here make big money and come to visit Europe:)) Really don't know if I will be uncomfortable, never flew in my life.
It's actually a nice feeling and the view is amazing, you just can't think about where you are :)

Las Vegas was about halfway between where I lived and where my parents lived, so I was driving through there frequently and never enjoying it. I went as a tourist a few times too and always considered it overrated (then again I don't gamble). I thought, "Why would Vegas be on your bucket list?" But then it occurred to me that it might be in regards to being at a WA gathering, and that makes more sense!
WOW, I always thought I wanted to see Vegas as well but after reading your comment I'm not sure. My sister and her husband have been a few times and rave about it but they are both gamblers, I'm not, so I think I would walk away feeling disappointed :)
Well, I'm not a fan of big cities to begin with, and in Vegas there is constant visual hyperstimulation. I prefer something much calmer. And even though they have built some cool buildings and interesting attractions, for me I just could not figure out how people enjoy themselves. Maybe it's because I don't enjoy spending money unless I really feel there is value.
Oh, you asked for a picture of the sphinx moths that we raised from caterpillars. They are not calm moths at all--once they get going they are like hummingbirds--but here is a photo of one that just emerged from its chrysalis and has not started flying yet, plus a caterpillar and a chrysalis picture (they dig underground to pupate, but I pulled this one up for a picture)
Thank you so much, these are georgeous, if you don't mind I'd like to keep the first one, I have a program that converts pictures into cross stitch patterns, and I would love to use it. I'm including a picture of a bird that came to visit one day, he actually knocked himself unconscious on one of my windows and I had the pleasure of holding him while he woke up.
Poor chickadee! We have some window collisions too sometimes.
I am happy to share that picture for use in possible cross-stitch pattern. I would love to see some of your work.
