What happens when you take a month out of Wealthy Affiliate.
Things happen and other factors take over in your life and you can't get stuck into writing your posts for your Wealthy Affiliate websites. Before I knew it a month had gone.
Things I found when I got back -
- that lovely magic Rank number was back into the 1000's :(
- my website monitor was red and those terrible words - site health needs work
- Helper, creator ranks were pretty poor too
It wasn't hard to get back into it though and I'm more psyched than before. I've set myself some harder goals too. I'm now trying to write posts 3 - 4 times a week instead of maybe once! It's hard but achievable. I've got a way to go yet but my site is getting bigger, the site health is getting better and all my friends and family are pretty impressed so I'm getting a thumbs up for quality content.
So it's ok to take time out (maybe not a month next time!) but if you come back with fresh eyes and more enthusiasm it can't be bad!

I have stepped away from building my site for several months at a time more than once. It's not the end of the world and sometimes you come back feeling more motivated than ever.
Exactly what I felt Steve - more motivated than ever and it is really rewarding when you get back into it again as I take alot of care with my posts - I try to write them so they can be looked at in a year etc.. and still sound good. But this is life and we can't all give 100% to it all of the time!
Yeah, a month is a bit long to be away. I've had a crazy month too, but I have at least been able to check in here and there. Glad to see you're back going strong again.

My rank dropped from 29 to 135. But I don't care, it means nothing. My blog prep kept me up on many topics. That may be the only thing I missed... well also the help with directional topics. I am not a LOL person, I am a $$$ person. SiteRubix seems more Professional than before. Everything runs better because of Windows 10. I have done 93 of these to date. We will just work on our Affiliate site for now.
ok Keith I haven't ranked that well and you're right it doesn't really matter but it is a kind of incentive too. Wow 93! I bow down to you! Sorry don't have Windows I use Macs! they're always good!
