Make sure you're applying as a publisher not an advertiser. Advertiser or Publisher? You don't need to have a registered company, you can use your own name as the company name.

I work for Awin, the network that acquired ShareASale. I'm glad to answer that question.
You aren't required to have a company name, but if you do have one, there's a place to enter it. We work with individuals and companies of all sizes, so the system was set up to accommodate them all.
