Last November, I bought a Jeep. A purple one. It turns out that a purple Jeep is a conversation piece. I wanted to name my Jeep the “Purple Cow. “
It is purple after all. However, I discovered that most people seem to think that calling something a “Cow” is not endearing. Yet, the proposed name allows me the opportunity to explain that Seth Godin’s book, the Purple Cow, is one of my all time favorite business books.
The premise behind the his book is that you want to transform your business by being remarkable. He explains, a purple cow in a field of black cows or brown cows will stand out. The purple cow will be remarkable.
