Are you Crazy - if You Pursue Your Goal?

Some people may think you are crazy if you want to be self-employed. Some people may think up you are crazy if you want to build an online business. Some people may be convinced you are crazy if you plan to make money with your website.

They may be concerned that you are going to get scammed. That is a fair concern. Unfortunately too many people get scammed with get-rich-quick schemes. Wealthy Affiliate is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme. Successful affiliate marketing websites take time. There is no such thing as get-rich-quick unless you when the lottery.
Many people may try to dissuade you from any type of entrepreneurial pursuit because they are risk averse. They may be unwilling or unable to commit to the long hours that are necessary to build a business from scratch. Sure they may stay safe and comfortable in their safe zone. Don’t let them persuade you to quit.

Last weekend, I went to a beach bonfire. I experienced a similar scenario. One of my friends came up with the idea of jumping over the fire. One guy that’s into martial arts immediately got up and jumped over it. His wife, pictured above, was going to but chickened out. I admire the fact she tried. I decided that since I have a broken toe, I wouldn’t be able to land properly. So I passed -this time. The guy that suggested it, jumped over it twice I hope that I could get a better picture the second time.

The guys that jumped the fire had no regrets. They thought jumping over the fire was fun challenge. However, the vast majority of people in the group thought it was a crazy idea. So they didn’t even think about getting up out of their comfortable chair.

One of the things that I like about WA is that it enables us to surround ourselves with other like-minded people. This helps us to ignore the people that think we are crazy.
