Why are you here?

I am very new to WA, but definitely not new to the world of business. I am a coach/consultant for individuals and businesses looking to set up a financial plan to get out of debt or avoid getting into debt in the first place. I absolutely love what I do and want to be able to help more people, which is why I am here looking to set up an online presence. (Plus, who doesn't like multiple income streams, right?) Now that I have established a little bit of credibility (hopefully) I will get to my point ;)

A few people have asked how long it will take them to start seeing some revenue come in from their activities here at WA and that is a great question! The responses have mostly been "this isn't a get-rich-quick scheme and it could take 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, etc. to start seeing some real money come in. It really depends on you and how much effort you are willing to put into it," Great answer to a great question!

So, how do you keep going when you aren't seeing any money come in and you have been at it for months? Part of it is having faith... in yourself, WA training, and the community here. BUT, the other part is remembering WHY you started in the first place. What motivated you originally to step out of your comfort zone? To try something new? A lot of us put our motivation, our "why", right into our introductions on our profiles and shared it with the whole community!

On days when you just feel like giving up, take a minute or two to remember why you came here, reach out to someone if you are stuck, and then start moving forward again. Don't lose focus on your "why". Seriously. And if your current "why" is not enough to keep you going when times get tough, it is time to find a new and more specific "why".

Wanna hear my "why" as an example? My boyfriend works 40-60 hours per week as a salaried employee and then has a second job on weekends just to try to make ends meet for himself and his daughter. (Of course I help out when he lets me, but he is stubborn and wants to do it on his own.) His boss doesn't appreciate him at all and he literally is exhausted all of the time. I do this for him and for his daughter because I want him to be able to pay bills and go back to school to get a degree like he has wanted to do for years. That is my "why". That is what gets my butt out of bed in the morning and onto this computer.

What is your "why"? How focused are you on your goals and why you came here?

I hope this helps at least one person, because it definitely helped me to reminded of this when I first started out. Good luck to everyone on your journey and feel free to reach out to me if you feel I can help you. =)

Great words to express to the community. Yes we all face days where we can not remember the "Y" we are here. You have just opened my eyes again and I am motivated to move forward no matter if I am making money yet or not. I will survive and succeed!
Thanks
Sheila
