Traveling and family sacrifice

So, we have been traveling for almost two weeks now and have gone cross country during that time (USA). Traveling is great and I absolutely love it! That is why I chose this path for myself and for my family. However, maintaining two businesses, traveling, and going to do things with the family can be a lot to juggle. I think the biggest challenge has been trying to find an internet connection that is reliable and where you aren't going to get mugged. Haha! We have stayed in really, really nice hotels that have reliable internet, but we have literally only been in them long enough to sleep since Brian is trying to pack as much into our days as possible. So, what we have done is I type up my work in the car while he drives and then find a Starbucks cafe with internet connection so I can upload everything before we get back on the road. This is working out really well! Or I work in the morning before everyone wakes up or after they have all gone to bed. I am grateful to be able to live a "laptop lifestyle" but it can be challenging. Brian is very supportive through it all and I know that he has had to make some sacrifices too while we all get adjusted to this. Like right now, I am typing and he is packing up our hotel room and rental car so we can move to our next destination. Business usually is not just about you and I, it involves our families too and I know that I constantly have to remind myself of that. This morning we opened the curtains to see the sunrise over the harbor in Los Angeles and I am sitting on a balcony listening to the morning bustle of the ships getting underway for a day of fishing. It has been a challenge to find time to work and we have made some sacrifices along the way, but we are starting to live a life that others only dream about. Keep moving forward towards your dream, because it will be worth it =)
