Hey Guys I just want to know If I have to put an affiliate disclosure on every page/post that I put an affiliate link even though there is an affiliate disclosure page on my we

In my case, I put a link to the affiliate disclosure page after the opening 1st or second paragraph of my posts. That way, it won't appear in the snippets and still makes it legal.

Nice question. I have been thinking about this.

Once I used to put the disclosure in my posts and realized that was the snippet google showed. So I stopped it.

Only the ones that have an affiliate link on them.
The FTC states that the disclosure should be displayed before the reader reaches your affiliate link.

You can set the Disclosure as a widget in your sidebar. Click on Appearance in your wordpress dashboard.

Then cick on widgets, then in widgets, look for Arbitrary Text or Text.

Copy your affiliate disclosure into the Text box, then click Done when complete and Save.

Your affiliate disclosure will appear on every post.

Hope this helps. If not, type in 'How to use a Widget' in the WA search bar.

Thank you

Thanks for this useful information. I already have my disclosure on the right sidebar but it does not appear on posts. It stays in the sidebar. Is that okay.

I can PM you to check it on my site if you wish.

Thank you.

Yes, you need that disclosure on every post or page where you have affiliate links.

Thank you
